Who do you think built this house—or had it built? What story lies behind these walls? These and similar questions are asked not only by Zwickau residents, but also by many visitors to the city. This guided tour provides some answers.

Zwickau boasts a large number of well-preserved, stately homes and villas—true architectural gems—particularly in the western section of Dr.-Friedrichs-Ring.

This walking tour, which begins at the junction of Leipziger Straße, leads to the intersection of Innere and Äußere Schneeberger Straße and offers a glimpse of buildings ranging from late Classicism to Modernism. In addition to their architectural features, each building has its own history and associated stories linked to both notable figures from Zwickau and historical events.
