Join us on an exciting journey through time, from the Middle Ages to the present day, in Neumark. How did Martin Römer become one of the wealthiest citizens of Electoral Saxony? How did Martin Römer influence the fate and history of Zwickau? Does the Römer family chronicle actually extend all the way to the present day? We will answer all these questions on our tour, which begins at the Martin Römer House and continues past St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Dünnebierhaus to the Lower Granary, now the city library. A visit to the library with its eventful history, including a tour of the impressive cold roof, rounds out the tour.
