The indoor swimming facility, featuring a 50-meter competition pool with eight lanes and an integrated movable starting platform, as well as a teaching pool, offers more than previous indoor swimming facilities. The new facility is located in the southern part of the city of Zwickau, in the Schedewitz district, in the immediate vicinity of a large shopping center and not far from local and long-distance rail services. The new facility is conveniently located with connections to the downtown tram and the intercity railway. Additionally, the swimming hall features a fitness room, a baby changing room, a VIP reception area, and a conference room.
