To mark this milestone birthday, Schumann’s “Summer Swing” will be celebrated for the first time over three consecutive days—with a carefully curated, high-quality program that showcases the full spectrum of jazz. It all kicks off tonight at 6:30 p.m. From rousing swing and groovy funk to classic Dixieland and sophisticated jazz sounds. Traditional jazz lovers will find plenty to enjoy here, as will curious music explorers of all generations.
A special highlight awaits guests on Sunday morning (June 21): For the first time, “Summer Swing at Schumann” invites you to an atmospheric morning get-together featuring classic Dixieland music—relaxed, lively, and entirely in the spirit of the anniversary.
